Working with Vintage SVG designs
- Distress detail is fragile
- The cracks and speckles that make a design look worn are tiny separate shapes. They weed slowly and they tear first, so size up rather than fighting them.
- Muted colour sells the age
- Bright vinyl undoes the effect instantly. Cream, oxblood and faded navy read as vintage where pure white and pillar-box red do not.
