Wedding work is usually a batch job rather than a single piece, and it usually cannot be redone. The designs here are picked for consistency across a run of twenty rather than for a single showpiece.
Working with weddings & celebrations designs
- Cut spares, always
- Plan for about ten percent more than the guest count. One will tear during weeding, one will land crooked, and a matching replacement six weeks later is not always possible.
- Keep one mat setup for the whole run
- Changing material, blade or pressure partway through a batch produces a visible difference between the first table and the last. Cut the whole run in one session if you can.
- Metallics need a slower pass
- Foil and glitter vinyl are thicker than standard and often need a second pass or a deeper setting. Test on an offcut before committing the good sheet.
