What does one credit get me for my laser?

One custom design from the generator: a DXF you download at the width you type, an SVG for LightBurn, xTool Creative Space or the Glowforge app, and a transparent PNG. It comes with 5 free changes, so you can keep asking until it is right, and if the generator cannot make what you asked for it says so before drawing and the credit comes back.

How does the CutFileVault credit system work?

Every design you generate, and every paid file in the library, costs 1 credit. Buy a single credit for a dollar or a pack for less per credit, pay once via Stripe, and the credits land in your account immediately. Spend them on any design or file, anytime. They never expire.

Does changing a generated design cost a credit?

Accepted Answer

Not until you have asked for 5. A credit pays for a design, and the first 5 changes you ask for in the same conversation are free, with no time limit on them. A new design, or a change after those, costs 1 credit, and a generation that fails or is declined costs nothing.

Question 4

Can I sell what I make with CutFileVault files?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A design you generate is yours outright: sell what you cut from it in any quantity, with no unit cap and nothing further to pay. A file from the library includes a small-business commercial license, so make and sell physical products with it (up to 500 units per design). The only thing you can't do with a library file is resell or redistribute the digital file itself.

Are CutFileVault re-downloads free?

Always. Once you've downloaded a file, it lives in your library forever, so re-download it as often as you like at no cost.

What if I'm not happy with my credit purchase?

Accepted Answer

Unspent credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Just email hello@cutfilevault.com. Once a credit is spent on a download, that credit is non-refundable (the file is yours to keep).

Does CutFileVault offer free SVG files?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A permanent rotating selection of free SVG cut files lives at /free. Email signup is required to download, and new signups also pick up a +1 bonus credit good for any paid file.
